Nick van de Wall, professionally known as Afrojack, was born on September 9, 1987, in Spijkenisse, Netherlands. He began producing music at age 14 and quickly gained recognition for his electro house sound. Afrojack rose to global fame with the 2010 hit Take Over Control (feat. Eva Simons) and has since worked with artists like David Guetta, Pitbull, Beyoncé, and Nicki Minaj. In addition to his DJ career, he founded Wall Recordings, a label that supports new EDM talent.
