Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, known professionally as Kygo, was born on September 11, 1991, in Singapore and raised in Bergen, Norway. He is a DJ, songwriter, and record producer credited with popularizing the tropical house genre worldwide. Kygo first gained attention in 2013 with his remix of Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire, which went viral. His debut single Firestone (2014) became an international hit, leading to collaborations with artists such as Selena Gomez, Imagine Dragons, and Whitney Houston.
