Martin Garrix, born Martijn Gerard Garritsen on 14 May 1996 in Amstelveen, Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and producer who exploded onto the scene with his 2013 hit Animals. He became the youngest artist to top Beatport’s main chart and has held the No. 1 spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list three years in a row (2016–2018). In 2016, he founded his own label, STMPD RCRDS.
