Annie Macmanus (born 18 July 1978 in Dublin, Ireland), known professionally as Annie Mac, is a celebrated DJ, radio broadcaster, event curator, and author. She became a household name through her long tenure at BBC Radio 1, where she hosted flagship shows like Future Sounds and the Dance Party. In 2015, she launched the Annie Mac Presents: Lost & Found Festival in Malta and quickly became an influential visionary in the electronic music scene. Since leaving the radio in 2021 to focus on family and creative pursuits, Annie has made her mark with bestselling novels and a successful club night concept called “Before Midnight”, launched in 2022.
