Sonny John Moore, known professionally as Skrillex, is an American DJ, record producer, and singer born on January 15, 1988. He began his career as the lead vocalist for the post-hardcore band From First to Last before transitioning to electronic music, releasing the breakthrough EP My Name Is Skrillex in 2010.
